On Jan. 3 , 2012 I met with Dr. David Elson, On-cologist at the Sioux Center hospital. I was anticipating a positive report from the blood panel and his examination. Yet, a euphoria set in when I was informed "all is well". Thank you again, Jesus for healing mercies.
I love You Lord, and lift my voice, in You alone does my soul rejoice! Take joy my King in what you hear, let it be a sweet, sweet sound in Your ear!
I eagerly anticipate one day being whole and holy in the presence of the whole family of God.

On July 15, 2011 it's time to praise the Lord for an excellent report from Dr. Amy Krie, my on-cologist. Every six months we do blood labs and she checks me for new signs of cancer. Because of a skin lesion under the surgical area I felt there was cause for concern, but thank-you, thank-you she tells me it can simply be frozen and it will disappear.

Continuing to Lean on Jesus through the daily joys and sorrows of life.
Because He lives I can face tommorrow, Because He lives all fear is gone. Because I KNOW He holds the future, life is worth the living-just because He lives!
So many changes in the years since I posted last! But God is faithful through the valleys and the day to day ups and downs. Baby Case was allowed to enter glory at ten months. New lives came into our family, Landan Hanenberg, Azariah Brewer, and Emma Laine Hoekstra.
Children are a gift from God! And life moves on. We are the great-grandparents of twelve :)

Eventful year for Dave & Lora

2007 is an eventful year for our oldest son Dave and his wife Lora. They have both reached middle age :) 50 years! Healthy, Wealthy and Wise! Congratulations on a very special year!
